The Alvarez 5063 Wildwood Special is a great slope shoulder guitar. Not the bass response of a Gibson or Epiphone slope shoulder guitar but a balanced strong tone and very well built. I purchased an early and late model each and they are fantastic sounding and a great value.

The Alvarez 5063 Wildwood Specials are fantastic slope shoulder acoustic guitars. The tone is excellent but the bass response does not compare to Gibson or Epiphone slope shoulder guitars. Construction of these instruments is tops and I own two of this model and both are still solid and sound amazing!

Just bought a 1990 Alvarez 5063 Wildwood Special and it is grand. Loud slope shoulder acoustic and has a distinctive Alvarez sound. I did a setup and now it rest next to my bed on a stand. My new everyday player for sure. Added two pickguards and the moustache look is a winner. Serious guitar if you are into round shoulder acoustics.
