I have 5237 artist the sound is amazing. Easy action and comfortable to play. The fenders, yamaha's epiphone 's I've owned in the past don't compare.

Just purchased an Alvarez 5237. I have to say that it's one of the best playing, best sounding guitars I've ever owned. It compares with the D-35 Martin I once had for a fraction of the cost. Will definitely hang on to this one!

Recently purchased the hand made 5237 at an unbelievable low price. This is the best quality guitar I have ever owned. Not sure how many of this model were made but this is the only one I have seen. Great in bluegrass and country jams. Side by side with D-28's and very competative. Glad I found this KEEPER!
