Cervantes Guitars was started by Alejandro Cervantes in 1996, Alejandro started playing the guitar at the age of ten and taught by his father he also began to work on guitars. Alejandro studied Classical Guitar at the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City, and he uses his experience as a player (in terms of each instrument's playability and acoustics) when building his guitars. Cervantes produces classical and flameco guitars in the traditional designs as well as some crossover nylon stringed models suited to jazz and Brazillian music and players more used to steel stringed models.
