Crafter guitars is a Korean brand. The Crafter name originated from the Sung-Eum Music Company which was founded in 1972 by HyunKwon Park. The company started small, in the basement of Park's home, but by 2000 it had a workforce of 140 and was distributing guitars worldwide especially to the UK. The Sung-Eum Co. first started using the Crafter brand name in 1986.

Crafter's core business is budget acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars, although they also produce a number of electric models.
