John Bogdanovich began making guitars 1996. Previously John served as an apprentice cabinetmaker for 3 in New York City laying the groundwork for the skills he would later call on for guitar building. After completing his apprenticeship, John went to college and studied electrical engineering before going to work at t AT&T Bell Labs.  After retiring from Bell Labs John woodworking, first in a small business designing and building furniture. This led him to study fine woodworking with James Krenov for two years at the College of the Redwood Fine Woodworking program in Fort Bragg, California. And then a guitar building class with Charles Fox began his journey in lutherie. As well as making of fine classical guitars, John has published books and DVDs in the the techniques of classical guitar making and has a wealth of information and supplies for the aspiring luthier on his website.
