Information: 

The Lignatone brand was used from the 1950s to 1960s on a series of budget flat-top, archtop acoustics and electric guitars. Lignatone was the export brand of CSHN, the state owned producer of guitars in Czechoslovakia at the time. Other CSHN brands include Resonet, Jolana and Neoton most were made in the town of Luby - now in the Czech Republic. The two tailed lion seen in the Lignatone logo derives from the double-tailed lion of Bohemia depicted on the Luby (and Czech Republic) coat of arms.
