Performance Guitar was founded in 1976 by ex-Fender technical advisor Kunio "Kenny" Sugai. They make custom guitars and basses with a client list including some of the world's best known guitarists: such as Frank Zappa, Dweezil Zappa, Warren DeMartini, Steve Vai and Joe Walsh.
