PT Berger established the PT Berger Guitars brand in 2009. Berger had been looking in vain for a Telecaster-style Thinline guitar with just the perfect combination of 1962 Custom meets 1969 Thinline features and so decied to design his own. He contracted with suppliers and manufacturers worldwide to make his dream a reality and the original PT Berger Bakersfield electric guitar was born. Manufacturing is now done in Vietnam or China. Final assembly, repairs, modifications and set-up is done at the PT Beger workshop in White Bear, Minnesota. Guitars shipped to France are assembled, adjusted, modified and set-up by the PT Berger distributor in Languedoc, France.
