Paul Rivera founded Rivera R&D 1976 in Southern California to design, develop, and manufacture guitar amplifiers and effects. Before starting his own company Paul Rivera ran an amplifier repair and modification shop, and then worked for Fender Amplifiers. Rivera builds a range of tube amplifiers as well as effects and cabinets. They have also released new entry-level Pubster and Clubster series of amplifiers.
