Information:

Seventy Seven is a brandname of the Japanese Deviser company, named for the year in which the Headway division of Deviser started producing acoustic guitars. Seventy Seven guitars are made in Matsumoto Japan. The brand was created in 2006 after Takaesu Masayuki, a leading guitar builder at Headway, had the idea of series of semi-acoustic electric guitars with the characteristic resonance of Headway acoustic guitars. He designed an original semi hollow body in which the whole cavity was made as large as possible but with a solid central core. Circa 2020 all Deviser 77 instruments were discontinued in preparation for a relaunch of the product line.
