Vicente Camacho is a member of the reknowned Madrid School of luthiers. His father was a cabinet maker, from whom he learned wood working. He combined his wood working skills with his interest in music and learned guitar making with Modesto Borreguero (who had worked with Santos Hernandez and Domingo Esteso in the workshop of Manuel Ramirez). After 8 years with Borreguero he established his own workshop.
