Wright Guitar Technology was founded by Rossco Wright. Rossco Wright began working as a guitar technician at the age of 19 - in the repair department of a major instrument importer. He started his own guitar repair business at 25. In 1993 he invented the innovative SoloEtte Travel Guitar and has since launched a Jazz Series model. Wright also invented the "Wright Pegbox" concept where the machine heads are mounted on the body behind the bridge.
