Samick SF 291S Concert Folk Guitar 1990's

The SF 291S is an "Artist Series Edition" concert folk 40" guitar built in Korea by Samick (mine is marked 1998).  It has a glossy finish solid spruce top with highly figured rosewood back and sides.  The guitar is rimmed with solid white binding that features white and black pin striping on the top edge.  Around the sound hole are 4 concentric black circles and includes a large black pickguard. The low profile neck is mahogany and the headstock is a matt mahogany with gold enclosed tuners.  Also a gold metal strap knob at the end is stock. The 20 fret rosewood fretboard has silver snow flake markers and the rosewood belly style bridge has a compensated saddle and white with black dot pins.  The width at the nut is 1.75" and the bridge is set at 2.25" string spacing.  Measures include 15" lower bout,  9.50" waist, 11.75" upper bout and 25.25" scale.  This guitar is truly finished well and resembles some very upper end 000 guitars of the day.
