Samick S7
Submitted by Philipp Krosigk (not verified) on
Build up from the middle 80's, Samick bought a lot of guitars made by S. Yairi they manufacured for the irish guitar builder George Lowden, today as Korea- or JapanLowden known. Samick got the fault guitars and sold them as top-models beginning with a S-5 up to a S-8. The most popular model was the S7-EC with a hq Shadow picup and cutaway.
I had a S-7 and later a S7-EC and both were great guitars. Solid cedar top, laminated rosewood back and sides, marple bindings, ebony fredboard and with a top-sound and Schaller tuner. S. Yairi guitars are best korean stuff and I recomend them.
