GUILD manufactured the X-79-3 between 1981 and 1985. It was the 3 single coil pickup version of the Guild X-79 Skyhawk. It came with an adjusto-matic bridge and SP-6 stop tailpiece as standard - although you could get one with a tremolo bridge as a special order. Controls are single volume and tone with three mini switches for the pickups - allowing for 13 tonal combinations.
