A guitar-list reader sent in this picture of his guitar. Does anyone recognise the brand logo? It looks like a Hondo "The Sting" guitar - probably made in the same factory but distributed under a different brand name. The Sting guitars were relatively cheap in the 1980s but can change hands for over $900 now - due to their rarity and cool shape.

I owned a Hondo Sting, it did not have anything on it like that. The Stings, when setup properly are the best guitars I have ever played.

This looks like the Yakima logo - this was a house brand of Willis Music in the 1980s
