Beautiful guitar. Very comfortable to play. The carved top adds to comfort level. Very unique look to it. Great pickups. Well made. I got it for a great price too. I think these can be had for very little money and will go up in value. I did not give it 5 stars because there is one fret that needs filing, the 3rd fret on the high e-string buzzes.

I bought this used in 2023. The CL200 was only made from 1999 to 2001. Mine was missing the pickguard. It also appears it has upgraded tuners - upgraded to Hipshot locking tuners, from what appears to be some sort of Grover copies, judging from the photos of other CL200s. It has some fret wear but not noticeable at this point when playing. Actually I think that is good as it shows it was worth playing. The guitar badly needed a set up, mainly the truss rod needed tightening and the bridge needed an adjustment. The guitar has a Les Paul scale, 24.75". and feel, though it is a bolt-on neck. One volume, one tone control plus a 3 way selector switch. Very nice carved top, well pronounced. I've seen it called a "German cut" which I've never seen before. It is a solid body guitar, not semi-hollow as is stated here. Mahogony neck and body from what I've read. Both are painted black though so I can't tell what the wood is, mahogony is probably right since it is a Les Paul type guitar. Medium frets. No binding but it has beautiful abalone position markers. Great medium neck, very comfortable to play. Zebra humbucker pickups that sound great. I can't speak for the original tuners but the Hipshots hold tune very well. I like the bridge. It is a top loading bridge, not wrap-around. Very solid with allen screws to adjust the intonation. As old as the guitar is, it came with the Allen wrenches to adjust it which was handy for set up. It even had instructions to set it up. I love the design of the guitar, very unique. Beautiful form. Very good feel, not too heavy, no sharp body parts. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm assuming the original tuners were not that great since they were upgraded. But I don't know that. I got it at a great price, one hundred twenty four US, which is the reason I bought it. I've never owned a Cort before and wanted to see the build quality. The guitar was made in Indonesia, if that matters.
