The Dobro DM33 was a chrome plated brass bodied single cone resonator with a National style buiscuit bridge & resonator. OMI made DM33s in the 1970s and Gibson carried on making them after they bought the Dobro brand. Although the Dobro DM33 had a biscuit-style soundwell, it had a removable ring of plywood around the edge so you could swap it to it to a more traditional Dobro spider bridge & cone. It could be ordered with the spider bridge fitted. It came with sand blasted graphic designs: California Girl, Dobro D, Gator, Hawaiian palm trees, Chrysanthemum Flower or Sailing Boat. This model is now discontinued.
