The poor mans d28 , the best guitar under 3000$,compatible to a Martin d28,by about 80%.If you can buy one grab it ,or pay a lot for a real one. Great build and quality ,booked rosewood Brazilian back .These guitars from the late 70s to early 80s are so good you may never need to upgrade .I own a Pr 650 ,Pr 735 ,Pr 775 ,as well as a Gibson j50 ,j45 and Martin D35 and D28.The Pr735 was my first guitar and is still may favourite feeling guitar and sounds so good that often gig with it .my more expensive guitars are only slightly better regardless of more expensive tone woods.
