EPIPHONE produced the OLYMPIC SINGLE between 1960 and 1969. It started out with a Les Paul style single cutaway body, tortoise shell pickguard and melody maker style headstock from 1960 until 1962. The body style was changed in 1963 to an offset double cutaway Coronet style design with a larger white pickguard. In 1964, 6-on-a-side headstock was introduced and a Maestro vibrato became optional. This model was also available in a two pickup configuration as the Epiphone Olympic Double.
