FENDER FLAME STANDARD
The Fender Flame standard was made in Japan in 1984 in Japan, at the time when Fender had paused American production. The Flame had obvious Gibson influences and was an attempt to capture some of Gibson's share of the market. The Flame had two Schaller humbuckers, a set neck, six-a-side tuners and a Tune-o-matic style bridge. The double cut-away alder body had a slightly carved top. It was bound around the body, neck and headstock. |
