The sides and backs of the APX20D are sycamore, and it has a solid spruce top. The neck is African mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. The D suffix indicates a slightly deeper body than other APX guitars: the body depth is 90mm (neck side), 100mm (bridge side) with a 12mm round back bulge. It has a unique asymetrical oval shape soundhole with an asymetrical bridge.
Yamaha APX 7CT
The Yamaha APX7 CT was a thinline electro-acoustic 6 string guitar. The top was spruce and it had ovangkol nack and sides. Body dimensions were: neck side- 75mm (2-15/16") and bridge side 85mm (3-3/8").
CHRIS LARKIN TELE THINLINE #930501
This Chris Larkin thinline tele was made on the 1st of march 1993. It has a mahogany (partly hollow) body with high figured maple top , 36 times handsanded glued maple neck, with fine ebony fingerboard, real ivory binding, shamrock neck inlays.

LYS L5 #1684
Don's Lys L5 has a massive Canadian spruce top, mahogany back and sides, ebony bridge and fingerboard. Neck is mahogany, 21 frets. Own tuners with oilbath. Finish in transparant lacquer. The headstock has fleur-de-lis shape, which echos the Lys logo.
There are double dot position markers on the fretboard, with three dots at the 12 fret. Black pickguard and body binding.
LYS
Lys guitars were made in LaPatrie, Quebec. The Lys guitars were built by Canadian luthier Norman Butcher, who also made the Kamouraska classical guitar. In the last part of 1980 fire ruined Butcher's shop and he was financially too weak to rebuild. Hence he sold everything to Robert Godin, who rebaptized the Lys to Seagull and the Kamouraska to LaPatrie.
