I have on of these now. My best friend and I built it up after buying the body at the Arlington Vintage Guitar show in 1994 when they were discontinued. It was just the body- no electronics, bridge saddle, nut, or pins. We got the body and my friend drove the top with a signal generator while watching it on and O-Scope. Shaved the braces to tune the top to "A-440". He worked for a firm that had incredibly dense ceramic, so he carved a compensated saddle and nut for the guitar with a Dremel tool and files. We elected to install a Fishman Blender and I did the set-up. It is now the best dreadnought guitar I have ever held in my hand. I have a $5000 Guild Jumbo A-45 which compares well with it. I have had no contact with the manufacturer on this project. The Steven Davies neck is amazing with extended access to the 24th fret. If you ;can find one of these guitars, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I owned one of these great guitars for years , the cutaway is so unique and useful , not just a fancy addition . Ya' have ta' put a clear pick guard on if ya' don't want scratches . This guitar sounded Acoustic threw any amp , but I finally got a acoustic amp and it sounded better ! Had to replace the Pezio Pickup once , owned it for 12 years . traded it because the intonation seemed a little off , bridge wasn't one piece , 6 individual pieces of bone . Played with em' but couldn't find the trouble . (Should have taken it to a pro ) I would buy another but they aren't to be found for a reasonable price , I have 22 guitars anyway , but , this guitar was a Gem and I'm sorry it's gone . If ya' got one , hang on to it , they get better with AGE , like us Ha!Ha!
