Asked what else the store owner had and he showed me a few others including the 175T with serialnumber 43726. Tried it, never looked back. But I would like to know a bit more about it as it seems to differ slightly, especially with the placing of the neck pick-up. The amount I paid is a bit of a guess but it was around that price. |

I have owned mine now for four years. I have a few but play this one most of the time. It is effortless to play and sounds wonderful unplugged-like an acoustic. Nice and bright but with beautiful resonance. i love it.

I have owned my ES 175 T for about 4 years. I have a number of other vintage guitars but play this one the most. It is resonant and sounds great unplugged. Action is smooth and it's easy to play. 20 frets limits some lead work but it's not a huge deal.It is a beautiful instrument and I like that it is rare. Looks beautiful.

I own a 1976, I think is the year. Nice wine red. They only made them for 4 years. It is a great guitar in every way. Easy to play on a comfortable mid girth neck. Extremely resonant on it's own ,unamplified, and sounds great through a Fender or Marshall with obviously different impact for each. Great for rock, blues, lead, rhythm, or jazz. I have a few nice guitars and go to this one more often than the others, so that tells me something. Compare it to my Gibson cs446, Guild Nightbird, 72 Fender tele thinline which are the others of that era, more or less. If you like hollow bodies, this one will not disappoint.
