The D25 also features a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. By the year 2000 more D25s had been sold than any other Guild model, but the D25 was discontinued in 2001 when Fender moved all Guild production to its factory in Corona, California.

1998 | $900 | new | Nathan | It's a Limited Edition D25 cherry from 1996, American made. List price was USD 1,400, but I was told that unlike (at the time) Martin guitars, the room to negotiate was very wide. Thus, I picked it up for 900 or thereabouts, in North Carolina. |

1974 | $275.00 | good | Jim | I bought my 1974 D25M new with hard case- arch bottom, mahogany top- just sent back to Fender in 2017: neck reset, new frets, new rosewood bridge- Cost from Fender $925 but no charge since they honored the Guild lifetime guarantee/ warranty. There isn’t a mark on the guitar- new condition. I had original receipt from ‘74’. Now who keeps receipts for 43 years?! |

GUILD D25 reviewed by Philip
Philip
A very dependable and rich sounding guitar. Mine is a 1978 D25 which I had a neck reset on recently . Good projection and amazing sustain when tuned to DADGAD. Upgraded the stock strap openbacked tuners but guitar now a keeper. The back is arched on these .
