My forever guitar. I've had Gibsons, Martins, and others. They were nice, but the Martins sounded too refined, and the Gibsons didn't project. The D-35 is loud, clear, expressive, and — most important for me — soulful. It comes alive in my hands. I think of Guilds as the acoustic answer to Telecasters: toothy twang in a broad tone pallette.
