GUILD manufactured the B-301 bass between 1977 and 1981. It had a double cutaway body shape. The single pickup was controlled by single volume and tone controls. Controls and jack plug were mounted on a the scratch plate (12 screw holes in the scratch plate). Head stock had 2 a side tuner configuration (Schaller M-4s) with a Guild logo and "B-301" on the truss rod cover. Dot position markers on the the fingerboard. Available with wide frets or fretless (at no extra charge). Solid brass combined bridge/tailpiece.
