Guild produced the BRIAN MAY model between 1984 and 1988. It was a faithful copy of Brian May's Red Special guitar. Features include a unique switching and control system, a wide but comfortable neck and an interior hollow acoustic chamber. It came with a Deluxe Kahler Vibrato and the three single coil pickups are DiMarzio replications of the original Burns Tri-sonics. There was a choice of all mahogany body or mahogany body with flamed maple top. All were handmade in the USA and left handed configuration was an option.
