Linstruth first shows up on radar in the late eighties when she moves from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of an all-female metal band. It was in Los Angeles that she formed Warbride. Prior to this, Linstruth had already gotten some exposure from being featured in Mike Varney's "Spotlight" column in the magazine Guitar Player. The ever-changing line-up of Warbride fell apart a few years later and the band was subsequently put on indefinite hiatus.

As of 2004, rumours have circulated claiming that Linstruth is starting Warbride up again.

Around 2004, Linstruth became involved in Arjen Lucassen's latest project Stream of Passion, touring extensively in 2005 and 2006.

In 2006 Linstruth contributed with two solos on the tribute-project Mountain Of Power, lead by guitarist Janne Stark (Grooveyard Records 2006). Read more about Lori Linstruth on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
