His songs have been recorded by the Dixie Chicks, Kenny Rogers, Daryl Worley, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, Travis Tritt, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Solomon Burke, Marty Stuart, Gary Allan, and Randy Travis.

2) Mike Henderson (born in Marshall, Missouri, on 15 June 1943) is an American blues-rock singer who also recorded as Mike Henderson Blues Band. Based in the Bay Area of San Francisco, he is a former UC Davis painting professor. In 1983, he finally released his first record titled "Blues Club Row". He subsequently released three CDs on the his own Pathway label: "Homesick Oakland Blues" in 1998; "Only Time Will Tell" in 2001; and "Trouble Ain’t No Stranger" in 2008.
