Hi and welcome to Hill Amplification. We are located in Zumbrota, MN just north of Rochester. I've been a electronics service tech for over 20 yrs and I work in the industrial processing field. I've been servicing amplifiers since the late 70s and building amplifiers of my own design or clones of classic designs for over 15 yrs.

This is a comprehensive encyclopedia website incorporating plucked stringed instruments : the lute, guitar, banjo and mandolin. There are the more well known western instruments, as well as their historic ancestors, but there are also a wide range of more unfamiliar instruments from all over the world.

There is a large variety of free guitar lessons on this site. Some of these lessons give suggestions on how to improve you guitar playing, whereas other lessons specifically discuss certain aspects/techniques of guitar playing.
