Harry G Stanley established the Oahu Publishing Company in the 1930s. Oahu brand instuments were made by a number of manufacturers including Kay (Harmony, Valco) and Rickenbacker. The brand originated in the era when Hawaiian music was fashionable, and they originally produced Hawaiian style guitars and amplifiers.

Wez Venables is a custom guitar builder from Burton-On-Trent in the UK. Each of his guitars is individually designed and built.
He is happy making vintage retro designs as well as new or experimental designs, including fanned fret instruments.
