Slash was born in the UK, to a father who was a graphic designer (with many album cover credits) and a mother who was a fashion designer. He soon moved to the USA, with his family rubbing shoulders with California music industry types though his family connections.

Joe Perry

Information: 

Joe Perry found fame as a guitarist in Aerosmith, who started around 1970 and went on to become one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. Perry is a master of the catchy guitar riff: Walk this way and Sweet Emotion are just two examples.

Tony Blair

Information: 

When he left school Tony spent a year in London, trying to find work as a rock music promoter, before going to Oxford University to study law at St John's College. As a student in Oxford, he played guitar and sang for a rock band called Ugly Rumours, and reportedly still plays to this day.

Tony Iommi is one of the founding fathers of heavy metal. It’s hard to believe that, growing up in Birmingham, England, Tony’s first musical instrument was the accordion. Before long, he had started learning the guitar. Tony left school to work in an engineering workshop, while also playing guitar in a band.

Del Bromham began playing guitar at eleven years of age. He formed his first band, Stray, while still at school in 1966. The band met with reasonable success, touring and recording, but never achieved international superstardom and eventually called it a day in 1977.

Pete has played in a number of Swansea bands. He is now the guitarist in Sabbath Bloody Sabbath , a band playing Black Sabbath music from the ‘Ozzy-era’(1969-1979): the band's first eight albums.
