The Ibanez Soungear SR895 was the five string version of the SR890. It had an ash body with a bolt on maple neck. Pickups were active precision / jazz bass style Ibanez units controlled by one volume, one treble, two mid, a bass and a mixer controls. Hardware was gold colored. The SR895 came in natural, transparent cherry or tranparent turquoise finishes.
