The Artstars are a series of semi-hollow body Ibanez guitars. Model names are AS, AF and AM combined with a number. The lower numbers are the basic models, the higher the number the better the specifications and the higher the prices. Mutliply the model number by 10 for the approximate retail price when new: For example the AS50 retailed $499 for whereas the AS200 sold for over $2000 when new.

Divide the retail price by 2 to get the approximate secondhand value for an artstar in excellent condition.
