History of the design.

This guitar was not designed by CFM IV. He asked the Acoustic Guitar Magazine Discussion Group to give their ideas for the next CEO guitar. I specified every detail for this guitar other than the obnxious pearl and the gold frets. I pointed out that the original design was Ditson and CFM IV's grand daddy. I suggested a modern interpretation of the original dred with mahogany and bear claw and a slot head and a 1 /34 nut . There were many very fine suggstions, my idea was chosen. For years CFM IV has taken credit for this and it is simply not true. Fact, and I have the documentation to prove it. He never thanked the Acoustic Guitar Magazine Discusson Group for their contribution. This will give you an idea of who this guy really is. They don't call this series CEO for nothing.. AKA Collosal Ego Opus.

CFM-IV was a fraud for claiming he designed the guitar. This was in all the adverts and materials generated by CF Martin.
His ancestors and Ditson designed the guitar. I merely suggest the use of the original dread design, the materials and the reason for their use.
You are jealous, you were not their ergo ignorant of the facts.
Live with it.
