The Martin 1-Series D12-1 Dreadnought was an affordable 12 string acoustic guitar made from 1996 to 2001. The D12-1 was made from from solid tonewoods including a Sitka spruce top, bookmatched sapele back and sides, as well as an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
