I purchased a used (2013) HD28VS from a gentleman in Southern California. It was if it was never played. It arrived dried out a bit, but after a week at 55% RH in the case (recommended by Martin). It came back with gusto!! I have three other Martins, yet this guitar plays and sounds better than anything I've played. Absolutely beautiful. Wanting to know more about the guitar I wrote Martin. Below is what came back.

There were 1,246 total right hand units built. In addition there were 9 left hand units built.
