The Oahu 65M was a square necked full sized Hawaiian acoustic guitar made during the 1930s. It had all mahogany contruction, with square neck, and chequered white/black binding on the body and soundhole. It had rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers.
The rosewood bridge was bolted to a thick ladder brace/bridge plate underneath the soundboard with two bolts hidden underneath pearl dots.
Dates of manufacture are approximate. Value is less than than fancier Oahu models, probably less than $500 for a good example.
