Jason Lollar is the author of the DIY pickup maker's bible "Basic Pickup Winding and Complete Guide to Making Your Own Pickup Winder". This book helped kickstart the custom pickup industry. It has been out of print for a number of years, assuming a mythical status. Secondhand copies have been selling for close to $300.
There are also illegal photocopied versions selling on e-Bay, sometimes for over $300. Jason had enough of chasing down these pirates and decided to release legal copies of his book. This time the book will be distributed as a CD instead of in print, with an expected release date of summer 2009. So don't waste money on an illegal version, buy the real thing at a fair price from the author himself. Check Lollar's website in July 2009 for more news
