The rarest version of the 4005 is the 4005 Lightshow: only a handful were made between 1970 and 1975, with colored lights pulsing beneath a translucent plastic body top.

1987 | £350 | good | Tonka | Bought my 4005 from a shop in Doncaster England in 1987. Saw it advertised in NME drove from Ipswich to Doncaster the next day. Went to the shop and when the two guys working found out I wasnt there to by a "new" bass , but the 4005, they pointed down the back and then ignored me. Got it off the wall, gave them the 350 pounds and went home very happy!! |
