SAMICK discontinued the BS ASH in 1999. It had offset rounded double cutaway solid alder body with a bolt-on maple neck. Scale-length was 25.5 inches and it had a 22-fret maple fingerboard with offset black dot inlays.
Hardware was a string-through-body fixed bridge, 3-a-side die-cast tuners, black hardware, 2 single coils and one humbucker Duncan-Designed pickups controlled by volume/tone (push/pull coil tap) controls and a 5-way selector switch. Finish options were black (BK), raid red (RA), or white (WH).
