The Seagull S-12 was introduced in 1998. It is designed with a straight string pull angle to improve tuning stability which is important on a 12 string. Otherwise the specifications are similar to the S-6: it has a round shouldered dreadnought shape, with pressure tested cedar top and Canadian cherry back and sides. Available with Quantum 1 electronics and as a left handed guitar.

The Seagull S12+ is the 12 string version of the S6+. The S12+ has a mahogany neck (as opposed to the maple neck on the S12). Twelve string guitars must endure a great deal of added stress on the neck. The Seagull neck design offers good stability, even on the twelve string models like the S12+ when tuned to concert pitch.

The Seagull S6 dreadnought was introduced in 1993 and has won several awards. The S6 is an affordable guitar with good feel and sound, a hand finished neck, select solid Cedar top and a custom polished finish. The S6 is available with Quantum electronics and as a left handed instrument.

The first S6 + Cutaway Burst (Model 2160) was produced by SEAGULL GUITARS in 2002

SEAGULL GUITARS began making the S6+ Burst (Model 1323) in 2002

SEAGULL GUITARS stopped making the S6+ CEDAR (model number 10318) around 2002 or 2003. It was almost identical to the S6 model with solid cedar top but being a Seagull+ model it had a rich mahogany stain on the back and sides giving the wild cherry a distinctive appearance.

The S6+ Folk Cutaway (Model 25022) was introduced in 2004

The Seagull S6+ Spruce is the solid spruce top version of the S6+ for players who prefer the brighter sound of a solid Spruce top.. Available with Quantom EQ or Element preamp and electronics for extra cost.

The Seagull S6+ Spruce (model #10370) is the solid spruce topped version of the S6 dreadnought, for players preferring the brighter sound of a solid spruce top.
