Introduced in 2004, the Spector Legend 4 Classic bass is part of the Korean made Spector Professional Series: designed to be affordable yet built using professional level materials and hardware.   

The original Legend 4 models had basswood bodies, gold hardware and EMG-HZ pickups, but by 2013 the Legend Classic features included:

  • TonePump Jr. Active 9-volt Tone Circuit
  • SSD Passive Humbucking Pickups
  • Solid Maple bodies with a Genuine Figured Quilt Maple Top.
  • Spector Locking Bridge
  • Rock Maple necks with Rosewood fingerboards, pearl-dot neck markers and graphite nuts.
  • Lined or unlined fretless necks are available with 4 and 5-string models (Black Cherry finish only)
  • Left handed configuration  available with 4 and 5-string models (Black Cherry finish only).
