TAKAMINE introduced the Hirade H-8 classical guitar in 1993. This model was renamed the H8SS around 1996. The H8SS Hirade concert classic is handcrafted in the Takamine pro series factory in Japan. The H8SS guitar has a solid spruce top for powerful lows, shimmering mids and a clear high end., and solid rosewood back and sides. According to Takamine these instruments are designed and built to stand beside the finest classical guitars made today.
