The Vox APACHE was made between 1961 and 1966. It was one of Vox's first electric guitars, and was modeled after a Fender Stratocaster (although the body shape is completely different). These initial Vox guitars were low-priced, had unusual TV connector input jacks and were made by a cabinet maker in Shoeburyness, Essex.
For 2012 the iconic VOX Phantom and Teardrop guitars were reissued as the Apache I and Apache II travel guitars with built in features including a 2-channel guitar amplifier, speakers, rhythm patterns, even a tuner. However, these modern Apaches are nothing like the original Apache.
