The body and neck of the XOX Audio Tools Handle is a hollow sectioned carbon fiber monocoque. This ultra lightweight material is much stronger than wood and won’t bend or deform under high temperatures or humidity. The guitar won the "Good Design" 2006 award from Chicago Athenaeum Museum.

The 24 fret neck has a 12" radius and 25.5" scale length and a graphtech nut. Bridge is a Hipshot baby grand, fixed bridge. Pickups are 2 DiMarzio PAF Pros controlled by a 3 way pickup selector, a volume and a tone control.

The Handle sells for around $2800 (in early 2008). The first 100 numbered limited edition the Handle guitars are available exclusively through a reservation list.
