The LL400 was Yamaha's unique handcrafted take on the traditional dreadnought shape. The LL400 had hand-scalloped bracing, and sculpted necks. The top was solid spruce with mahogany back and sides and rosewood fingerboard. The soundhole rosette was inlaid with abalone and the binding was ivory cell. All LL400s were finished in natural gloss. This model is now discontinued.
