Series name: 

The LL400 was Yamaha's unique handcrafted take on the traditional dreadnought shape. The LL400 had hand-scalloped bracing, and sculpted necks.  The top was solid spruce with mahogany back and sides and rosewood fingerboard. The soundhole rosette was inlaid with abalone and the binding was ivory cell. All LL400s were finished in natural gloss. This model is now discontinued.

2003$500wornharryfretboard and bridge can be ebony or rosewood. yamaha made both. mine is made in 2003 and is very dark rosewood. even yamaha catalogs mention the different woods. a fine insrument with lovely tone.
