I got my 83 Yamaha BB400, I play Fender jazz, Rickenbacker 3001, I've played all my guitars but this might be one trick guitar. The action on the 400 is almost as good as my jazz no joke but the tone is rich and really sound. I put a different tail piece, Schaller tuners, lowered the action. Just these few add ons and you can really make your axe a stand out. This ain't no joke I play that 400 any chance I get. Hope this info can get your 400 like mine, you wont regret. Party on dudes!
