ALVAREZ YAIRI produced the CY 62 CE between 2002 and 2004. Made for only few years this model fit between the cy127-ce/cy128-Ce and the CY95-ce. Probably more similar to the CY95 and the CY128 wth the cy127 having less side depth than the other 2. Mahogany neck, no truss rod. Alvarez Acoustic Natural Response System was used on the CY62-CE, CY95-CE, and the CY-127-CE although earlier models of the CY127 used a passive pickup. The CY62, CY95, and the CY127 had cedar tops while the CY128 had a spruce top. The sides are burld mahogany laminate. The CY95 was the only one of the series to had solid sides (rosewood).
